Succulents are plants that store water in their leaves, stems, or roots to survive drought
These plants often come from arid climates where their thick leaves have evolved to store water. Succulent plants are not a special category of plants but are merely a description of their appearance. In simple terms, a succulent is a plant with thick leaves or, for example, a thick stem. This means that these plants are often drought-tolerant and very easy to care for. Perfect plants for those who don't have all the time in the world to water their houseplants!
Succulents should be planted in a succulent soil with good drainage. Often, a sandy soil with pumice as a soil improver is perfect. Succulents often like strong light, although they tolerate shade sometimes. If you want a large succulent, they grow much faster in a sunny window than indoors in a room. You don't have to worry about these plants not being able to withstand too much strong light.
Water your succulents a little less often in winter than in summer, as the soil dries slower. Buy succulents online!
