Like its non-variegated relative, Euphorbia ingens, Euphorbia ingens variegata can be a relatively fast-growing and easy-care succulent if given enough light. The Euphorbia looks like a classic cactus, but technically it is not, as it actually develops tiny leaves, which cacti do not.

Care.

Water the cactus euphorbia only when the soil is completely dry. During the winter, watering only once, if at all, is usually sufficient. Overwatering or too much water in relation to light can lead to rot. Place the plant in full sun. When repotting, it should be planted in a suitable cactus soil.

Euphorbia ingens originates from Eritrea down to southern Africa, where it stands out in the dry bushlands and enjoys the scorching sun.

Appearance.

Over time, the cactus euphorbia grows almost ten meters tall, and the stem then becomes woody.
