Calathea Care Tips: Our Calatheas thrive in bright, indirect light without direct sun. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, watering when the top few centimeters have dried out. Use distilled or boiled water as lime can cause brown leaf tips.

Right soil for Calathea: Use airy, well-draining soil - preferably with coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark. Calatheas love high humidity (60-80%), so place them near a humidifier or on a humidity tray.

Why does my Calathea have brown leaf tips? This is usually due to low humidity, too much lime in the water, or inconsistent watering. Solution: increase humidity, use filtered water, and maintain consistent moisture.

Why do Calatheas curl their leaves? This is normal in the evening (prayer plant behavior), but it can also indicate that the plant needs water or more humidity.
