Washed coconut fibre from Sri Lanka.
Our coconut fibre is of the highest quality and comes from Sri Lanka, where it is grown without pesticides . The substrate is carefully cleaned, washed and pressed before it becomes the finished product. The result is a clean, organic and sustainable coir, also called coco coir or coconut soil.
How do you use coconut fibre?
Coir is a fantastic soil amendment that improves clay soil by making it airier and easier to work with. It is perfect for growing orchids, aroids and common houseplants, as well as tropical fruit trees that appreciate an airy and moisture-retaining growing environment.
One of the great benefits of coir is its ability to absorb and store water. This means that the soil stays moist longer, so you don't have to water as often. At the same time, coir ensures that there is plenty of oxygen around the roots, which is especially important for sensitive varieties such as orchids and many common houseplants.
Perfect for cuttings.
Coconut fibre contains natural preservatives that can reduce the risk of mold, making it especially good for sowing and raising small plants. It works equally well as a growing medium on its own or when mixed with other soil to improve structure.
We offer coconut fibre in different forms to suit your needs: fine coconut soil for sowing and potting, as well as coir chips which are perfect as a soil amendment, especially in heavy clay soil.
Better than peat.
Environmentally, coir is a good choice, as it is a renewable resource and a more sustainable alternative to peat. Peat mining leads to large emissions of greenhouse gases and negatively affects sensitive ecosystems. By choosing coir fiber, you contribute to a greener future and benefit production where both people and the environment are in focus. Buy coco coir fiber online!

Älskar att det kommer i en återförslutningsbar påse! Så mycket lättare att hantera än vanliga plastpåsar/säckar.
