Powerful Hoya with soft, fuzzy leaves that needs good climbing support

Hoya hypolasia was discovered by Schlechter on July 27, 1908, and scientifically described in 1913. When first found, the plant was growing in trees in a hilly forest by the bank of a river at an altitude of approximately 400 meters.

This is a powerful, richly branching hoya that needs proper support. The leaves are soft and very fuzzy (pubescent) and can grow up to approximately 15 centimeters long.

Care

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings. Prefers high humidity and well-draining, airy soil. Provide the plant with good climbing support for its vigorous growth habit. Ideal temperature 18-26 degrees Celsius.

Shipping Policy

When buying live plants, transport can sometimes affect the condition of the plant. We strive to ensure that all plants arrive in good health, but minor shipping damage, such as a torn leaf or bent stem, is sometimes unavoidable. Read more about our policy here.
