Appearance.

Its long, shiny leaves shimmer in shades of green, white, pink and red. The irregular color pattern on the leaf surface gives the impression that someone has splashed paint over the plant. The dense, decorative leaves can grow to 50 cm long and give a sparkling impression as an ornamental plant. Buy Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' online!

Care.

Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' thrives best in mild conditions, just the right amount of everything. They like bright light but definitely not direct sunlight. Normal room temperature is fine and they prefer an airy soil mix that is kept slightly moist, but never wet.

Stromanthe thalia is one of the easier species within the Marantaceae to keep as a houseplant. It is not particularly sensitive to hard water or dry air, but in very dry environments the leaves may develop dry edges. Place the pot on a saucer of pebbles and water to increase the humidity around the plant.
