It is particularly prized for its decorative leaves with unique green patterns and colors.

Origin: The origin of this species is South America, mainly Brazil

Leaves: Oblong and elliptical with a pointed end, light green with dark green, feathery patterns reminiscent of fish bones. Smooth and slightly glossy surface. The leaves are usually 10-15 cm long and 5-8 cm wide.
Habit: Clumping, spreads by underground rhizomes. Short and slightly erect stems. Rhizomatous roots, which means they spread underground and can give rise to new shoots.
