Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura is the name of the species and it originates from Central-Eastern Brazil.
Appearance.
The leaves are oval-elliptical and have a distinctive dark green color with light green, feathery patterns and bright red veins. The underside of the leaves is often purple, providing a dramatic contrast.
Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura grows compactly and can reach a height of about 20-30 cm. It is ideal for smaller pots and hanging baskets.
