Typical Calathea with patterned leaves
Goeppertia concinna , better known as 'Calathea 'Freddie', is an easy-going houseplant with narrow, wavy leaves in light green with darker feathery patterns. The Calathea moves its leaves according to the rhythm of the day!
Botanical description
This species is originally from Brazil where it grows in the moist undergrowth. The leaves are narrow, soft and have a distinctive striped pattern – a characteristic of several species in the Goeppertia genus. The underside is light green to slightly silvery. The plant belongs to the group of "living plants" (marantas) that move with the day.
