Aroids, popular green houseplants.

Cold plants are also called aroids and in Latin Araceae. They have become very popular indoor houseplants. These plants come from the tropics and often grow naturally in low light levels. This means that they can easily be grown indoors as houseplants because they thrive well in an indoor environment. There are both difficult and easy-care varieties and are among the richest family with several thousand different species. Aroids are among the plant family that has been among the least described and there are probably at least as many undescribed species left.
