Read before ordering beneficial insects online [Important].

Our supplier Biobasiq ships fresh beneficial insects every Monday. Place your order no later than Sunday at 12:00 PM, and they will be shipped the following Monday. If your order is placed later than Sunday, the order will be shipped the following Monday. The beneficial insects are shipped to your mailbox; please keep this in mind when ordering in winter if your mailbox is located outdoors. When temperatures drop at the beginning of November, orders are shipped to a PostNord service point instead of the mailbox.

The spider mite predator, Phytoseiulus persimilis, is effective for controlling spider mites. The predatory mites are 0.5 mm long and reddish-orange in color.

The bottle of predatory mites should only be opened at the infested plants. If the predatory mites are not visible in the lid, carefully pour a little of the substrate onto a piece of white A4 paper. You will then be able to clearly see the predatory mites scurrying across the paper surface.

Hold the bottle horizontally. Gently rotate the bottle to distribute the predatory mites evenly throughout the granules. Sprinkle small portions onto the top of the leaves. These should be kept moist so that the granules remain in place for a time and the mites can move around to search for prey on the plant.
