Scindapsus treubii is a species with thick, dark green leaves and an elegant silvery sheen on the upper side.
Unlike the more common Scindapsus pictus (silver creeper), S. treubii 'Moonlight' has a more uniform silvery color across the entire leaf surface rather than spots or markings.
Scindapsus treubii grows relatively slowly and likes to climb because, like its relatives, the leaves grow larger if the plant is allowed to climb.
Botanical description
Scindapsus treubii belongs to the Araceae family and is originally from Indonesia, the Malay Peninsula and Borneo. The species treubii has 2 common cultivars, 'Moonlight' being one of them and 'Dark form' the other.

Care
Scindapsus treubii 'Moonlight' thrives best in bright, indirect light and can be placed in a room with plenty of filtered light or under grow lights. The plant can tolerate lower light conditions but will not be as lush.
Water when the top 3 centimeters of soil feels dry and keep the soil slightly moist. The soil should be moist but not wet and should not remain completely saturated with water for long periods. When repotting, use a porous soil mix such as our Aroid soil.
The plant is very tolerant of different indoor environments and requires little maintenance in terms of humidity. Keep the plant away from cold drafts and elements.
Give the plant a moss stake to climb on to encourage larger leaf growth, or let it hang as a hanging plant. Buy Scindapsus treubii 'moonlight' online!
