Pinguicula agnata är en köttätande växt från nordöstra Mexiko, endemisk i fuktiga tallskogar där den anpassat sig perfekt till sin miljö.
De klibbiga bladen fångar små insekter som fastnar vid kontakt, och de suckulenta bladen lagrar fukt som hjälper växten genom torrsäsongen. Blommorna är stora och varierar från vitt till blåviolett och lila, och slår ut sent på våren.
Skötsel
Trivs i ljust, indirekt ljus till lätt direkt sol. Använd näringsfattigt substrat av vitmossa blandat med perlit, sand eller finkrossad kalksten, aldrig vanlig krukjord eller gödning.
Håll substratet fuktigt under växtsäsongen men inte genomblött. Vattna endast med destillerat eller regnvatten. Under vintern går växten in i ett suckulent viloläge med mindre klibbiga blad, reducera då vattningen betydligt.
Idealtemperatur 18-28 grader Celsius. Behöver inte matas, fångar sina egna insekter.
