A beautiful and rare hybrid with huge leaves
Philodendron Dean McDowell is a hybrid of two very popular indoor plants, Philodendron gloriosum and Philodendron pastazanum. The plant was bred in 1988 and is named after its creator, 'Dean McDowell'. It is easy to care for and is ideal for beginners.
Care: Just like its parents, Philodendron Dean McDowell creeps along the ground and develops large leaves when each node is allowed to root in the soil. We therefore recommend replanting in an oblong pot.
Use a well-drained soil like our peat-free soil . Place the plant in indirect light and water with the goal of letting the soil dry slightly between waterings.
Botanical Description
