Purple triangular leaves that open during the day and fold up at night
Oxalis triangularis is an easy-to-care-for and resilient houseplant. Its leaves are deeply purple and sometimes decorated with lighter patterns in shades of light pink or violet. As a bonus, the plant also produces small, trumpet-shaped flowers in light pink or white, creating a beautiful contrast to the rich color of the leaves.
Botanical Description
Oxalis triangularis 'triangular sorrel' originates from Peru to Brazil and N. Argentina.

Care
Triangular sorrel thrives in strong, indirect light. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and ensure it has good drainage. Triangular sorrel benefits from a little extra nutrition during the growing season but can also do well without much supplement.
Appearance
The leaves are dark purple and triangular with a delicate movement that opens and closes with the rhythm of the day. The leaves can grow to a compact height of about 15-20 cm.
The Oxalis grows in clusters and can quickly spread in a pot, making it an excellent choice for creating lush spaces. Oxalis can bloom several times a year and are easy to propagate from bulbs. Buy Oxalis triangularis online!
