Natural hybrid between N. ampullaria and N. rafflesiana

This is a relatively common natural hybrid found in the lowlands of Borneo, the Malay Peninsula, Singapore, and Sumatra, as well as on smaller surrounding islands like Natuna. Like its parent species, the hybrid generally grows in recently disturbed clearings.

The pitchers are green with red and purple spots and have a very small lid. This is a heat-loving species that requires a minimum temperature of 15°C and is very easy to grow in a terrarium.

Care

Thrives in warm conditions with high humidity (70-80%). Use a substrate of sphagnum, perlite, and coconut. Always keep moist with distilled or rainwater.

Ideal temperature 20-30°C, minimum 15°C. Perfect for terrariums.
