Read before ordering beneficial insects online [Important].

Our supplier Biobasiq ships fresh beneficial insects every Monday. Place your order no later than Sunday at 12:00 PM, and they will be shipped the following Monday. If your order is placed after Sunday, it will be shipped the following Monday. Beneficial insects are delivered to your mailbox; please keep this in mind when ordering during winter if your mailbox is located outdoors. When temperatures drop at the beginning of November, orders are sent to PostNord collection points instead of the mailbox.

Nematodes, also called roundworms, are microscopically small and are used effectively to combat fungus gnats by killing the fly larvae in the soil. When the nematodes are watered into the soil, these insect-parasitic nematodes actively seek out the larvae and infect them, which leads to the larvae dying.

The dead larva serves as a growth site for new nematodes. Since they only feed on the larvae of fungus gnats and to some extent thrips, they do not harm your plants. Nematodes are delivered in quantities of 10 million or 50 million, mixed in fine clay.

Instructions: Dissolve the contents in water and water the soil where the fungus gnat larvae are present. Treat all plants in the same area for best results. Keep the soil slightly moist for the week following the treatment. Use the nematodes as soon as possible.

Follow-up treatment:
The nematodes only combat the larval stages, so the reduction in adult gnats will be visible after 2-3 weeks. Hang up yellow sticky traps to catch adult gnats and speed up the effect.
