An extremely rare and sought-after variety of Monstera deliciosa
Unique light green to mint green leaves with beautifully marbled, light green spots. Unlike Monstera Albo Variegata, this variety has very distinct speckled white variegations that give the plant a completely unique appearance.
The higher chlorophyll content in the variegated areas helps prevent brown leaves and keeps the foliage lusher and more vibrant than other variegated monstera varieties.
Botanical description
Monstera deliciosa is originally from the rainforests of Central America. This rare variegated form has become a sensation among plant collectors, which is not surprising given that a specimen with large, beautiful leaves and fantastic variegations sold at auction for a whopping $15,000!
Variegation is a natural mutation that makes each plant unique.
Care
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Water when the top few centimeters of soil have dried out. Prefers high humidity (60-80% but not required) and well-drained soil. Ideal temperature 18-26°C.
Give the plant a climbing support such as a moss pole to promote the growth of larger leaves. Fertilize monthly during the growing season. Variegated parts contain less chlorophyll, so make sure the plant gets enough light to maintain the variegation. Buy Monstera deliciosa mint online!
