Large-leaved hoya from Borneo related to latifolia, constantly producing new peduncles
Hoya sp. Sarawak 'Cream' is one of several hoyas that have been grouped under the name Hoya latifolia. It's easy to see why; the plants all share the same growth habit and large leaves. One of these habits is that the plants produce stiff peduncles (flower stalks) all over the plant. No matter how many times they are cut off, more will always emerge.
There is no species named "Sarawak"; the designation is geographical and refers to an unidentified species found in Sarawak, the Malaysian state on the island of Borneo. A large number of hoyas grow in Sarawak, and it is a primary collection site for Hoya latifolia.

Care
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Allow the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Prefers high humidity and well-draining, airy soil. Provide climbing support for the large leaves. Ideal temperature 18-26 degrees Celsius. Excellent for climbing support or in a hanging basket. Buy Hoya sp. Sarawak 'cream' online!
