A new and undescribed Hoya with large veined leaves

Not much is known about Hoya sp. Sabah. Hoya sp. RP-013, like most Finlaysonii-type Hoyas, begins to flower at a young age. It is an as yet undescribed species that grows large, oval leaves and climbs upwards.

Botanical description

Not much is known about it other than that it is also called Hoya sp. RP-013 and EPC-961. RP is an abbreviation for Ratchaburi Panmai Hoya Nursery in Thailand where the variety was likely first described.

Care

Hoya sp. Sabah, like other porcelain flowers, thrives in a well-drained and porous soil mix. A suitable mix includes perlite, coco coir, and orchid bark, such as our pre-mixed aroid soil. Place the Hoya in indirect light and allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, but never completely bone dry.
