A new and undescribed Hoya with large veined leaves.
Not much is known about Hoya sp. sabah. Hoya sp. RP-013, like most Hoyas of the Finlaysonii type, starts flowering at a young age. It is an as yet undescribed species that has large oval leaves and climbs upwards.
Botanical description.
Trying to describe this Hoya can drive you crazy. Not much is known about it other than that it is also called Hoya sp. RP-013 and EPC-961. RP is an abbreviation for Ratchaburi Panmai Hoya Nursery in Thailand where the variety was probably first described.
Care.
Hoya sp. sabah thrives, just like other porcelain flowers, in a well-drained and porous soil mixture. A suitable mixture is with perlite, coconut soil and orchid bark, e.g. our ready-mixed aroid soil. Place the Hoya in indirect light and let the soil dry out a bit between waterings. However, never completely dry. Cuttings are taken by cutting at least one node and place in a pot with high humidity around. Buy Hoya sp. sabah online!
