Undescribed Hoya species from the mountain forests of Loei Province in Thailand

Hoya sp. Loei Province is an undescribed climbing Hoya species from Loei Province in Thailand, likely from montane evergreen forests such as Phu Kradueng or Phu Ruea National Parks at mid-altitudes of around 1000 to 1300 meters.

It lacks a formal scientific name and is known by this provisional name in cultivation.

Care

Thrives in bright, indirect light or filtered partial shade. Allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings, and water when the top third of the substrate is dry, as overwatering risks root rot. Once established, deeper but less frequent watering balanced with light cycles encourages growth without waterlogging.

Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally over 40 percent up to 70 percent or more. Ideal temperature 18 to 29 degrees Celsius.

Shipping Policy

When buying live plants, transport can sometimes affect the condition of the plant. We strive to ensure that all plants arrive in good health, but minor shipping damage, such as a torn leaf or bent stem, is sometimes unavoidable. Read more about our policy here.
