Hoya latifolia is characterized by its large, round leaves in a beautiful, vibrant green color.
Hoya latifolia is an unusual waxflower with large, thick leaves that are markedly different from the more "typical" Hoya leaves.
Under optimal conditions it can grow rapidly during the summer, but like many other Hoyas its growth stops during the winter. Without additional lighting and increased humidity it will mostly remain dormant until light conditions improve.
Care.
The plant thrives best in bright, indirect light and does well in environments with low humidity. Hoya latifolia blooms with white, very fragrant flowers in abundant quantities, but for it to bloom, the right conditions are required. A slight drying out in late winter can stimulate bud formation.
Like most Hoyas, this species is easy to grow, but it can suffer from sun stress, which is good to keep in mind.
Botanical description.
This species is native to Myanmar to western Malaysia. It is a climbing epiphyte (grows on plants) or lithophyte (grows on rocks) and thrives primarily in humid tropical areas.

appearance.
Hoya latifolia has large leaves, up to 30 cm long. It climbs and can grow 10 m long with its tendrils. The leaves are deep green with small grooves along the leaves. Do you also like large leaves and are looking for an easy-care plant? Buy Hoya latifolia online!
