Carnosa cultivar with white "freckles", hardy and easy-to-care-for classic

Hoya carnosa 'Freckles' has significantly larger leaves than common carnosa, measuring about 7 to 12 centimeters long and 4 to 7 centimeters wide, and they are absolutely magnificent. The leaves have plenty of spots that are lighter than those of other carnosas and actually look like white freckles, just as the name suggests.

Whether this is a valid cultivar name or not is unclear, but regardless, it is a lovely hoya even if it is "just" another carnosa.

Care

Hoya carnosa can tolerate a lot of neglect and can stay in the same pot for years. The only thing that truly makes it suffer is overwatering; treat it almost like a succulent, especially in winter.

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Allow the soil to dry out thoroughly between waterings. Use well-draining, airy soil. Ideal temperature 18-26 degrees Celsius. Excellent for climbing supports or hanging baskets.
