Sällsynt Hoya med dramatiskt grafiska svarta nerver från Thailand
Hoya callistophylla 'Black Cat' är särskilt uppskattad för sina hårda, läderartade blad med mörka, nästan svarta nerver som skapar ett kraftigt och grafiskt mönster. Bladen blir upp till 20 centimeter långa och gör att växten sticker ut även när den inte blommar.
Arten beskrevs så sent som år 2000 och finns naturligt på Borneo. 'Black Cat'-kultivaren tros ha sitt ursprung i Thailand där den första gången odlades av den välkände hoya-plantskolan AhHoya, även om dess exakta ursprung förblir något av ett mysterium.
Denna kultivar utmärker sig genom ett remarkabelt och sällsynt fenomen kallat "vein bleed"-effekten, där nerverna som är typiskt djupsvarta eller mörkgröna verkar blöda ut i det omgivande bladet och ger växten ett extraordinärt utseende som skiljer den från andra porslinsblommor. Blommorna har beige stödblad med lilaröda toppar och klart vit krona.
Skötsel
Trivs i ljust, indirekt ljus. Låt substratet torka något mellan vattningarna. Föredrar hög luftfuktighet och väldränerad jord. Idealtemperatur 18-26 grader Celsius. Passar utmärkt på klätterstöd eller i ampel.
