Trout begonia , also known as Begonia maculata , is distinguished by its spotted leaves
Begonia maculata is named after Michel Bégon, a 17th-century French governor and plant collector. It has long been a popular houseplant in botanical gardens and indoor cultivations.
Care
Trout begonia thrives best in bright, indirect sunlight. Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet. The best potting soil for begonias is generally a well-drained soil with perlite. Our peat-free potting soil is excellent for these tropical plants.
Botanical Description
