Euphorbia tirucalli is a shrub-like succulent that can grow up to 7 meters tall!
Gummieuphorbia, as it is also called, is characterized by its many branches that grow small green leaves. A very unique succulent that is also incredibly easy to care for.
Care.
The Gummieuphorbia is a houseplant that can withstand sun and drought. Place it in a south-facing window and water only when the soil is completely dry. Make sure to water thoroughly, i.e. place the pot in water until the soil is completely saturated with water. Take cuttings by cutting off a branch and placing the cutting in a glass of water. Then plant in a well-drained cactus soil.
Botanical description.
The spurge plant is called Euphorbia tirucalli and originates from Madagascar. Like many in the euphorbia family, the plant produces a toxic latex when twigs are broken. Wear gloves when taking cuttings!

Appearance.
Pencil cactus is a shrub or small tree with smooth, succulent branches about the thickness of a pencil, hence the name. It can grow up to seven meters tall . The trunk is cylindrical and fleshy, while the fragile branches, which are about 7 mm thick , often grow in whorls and have fine longitudinal veins.
The leaves are oval, 1–2.5 cm long and 3–4 mm wide , but they usually fall off early. The yellow flowers are in clusters at the tips of the branches. A succulent with a very unusual appearance, buy Euphorbia tirucalli online!
