Begonia sp. 'Mantuk' är en sällsynt och fängslande begoniaart från de tropiska skogarna i Sarawak på Borneo. Som den saknar ännu ett formellt vetenskapligt namn och är känd under detta provisoriska namn i odling.
Växten är känd för sitt skimrande bladverk med stora, glänsande gröna blad med vita prickar som skiftar i färg under olika förhållanden. Beroende på ljus och luftfuktighet kan bladen framträda i nyanser av grönt, svart eller blått.
Skötsel
Trivs i miljöer med hög luftfuktighet, vilket gör den perfekt för terrarium, växtskåp eller utrymmen med luftfuktare. Håll jorden jämnt fuktig men väldränerad.
Trivs i halvskugga till skugga med hög luftfuktighet (70-80% eller mer). Använd luftig, väldränerad jord. Idealtemperatur 20-26 grader Celsius. Gödsla sparsamt under växtsäsongen.
