" recavum " comes from the Latin word "recavus," meaning "curved in," and refers to the uniquely sunken veins that adorn the leaves.
Anthurium recavum also bears a striking resemblance to other species in the Calomystrium section, such as Anthurium delannayi and Anthurium veitchii. All three share a characteristic ribbed leaf texture that contributes to their distinctive appearance.
Care: Thrives in well-drained aroid soil and indirect light. Keep the soil slightly moist and avoid drying out. The plant prefers high humidity, but can also adapt to drier indoor climates.
