Our supplier Biobasiq ships fresh beneficial insects every Monday. Place your order no later than 12:00 PM on Sunday to have them shipped the following Monday. If your order is placed after Sunday, it will be shipped the following week's Monday. Beneficial insects are delivered to your mailbox; please keep this in mind when ordering during winter if your mailbox is located outdoors. When temperatures drop at the beginning of November, orders are sent to a PostNord collection point instead of to the mailbox.

Amblyseius californicus predatory mites keep plants free from spider mites

Amblyseius (Neoseiulus) californicus is a small, pale yellow predatory mite that loves to eat spider mites! Perfect for preventative use before spider mites become a problem for your plants. You receive them in convenient small sachets that are easily hung on the plants.

They are hardy and can survive on both other mites and pollen, making them especially good to use early in the growing season. They also tolerate larger temperature variations than other predatory mites, from 8°C up to 35°C.

How to do it:

1. Hang the sachets on branches or leaf stems.
2. Use 1 sachet per plant or approx. 2-3 sachets/m².
3. Avoid contact with soil and protect from direct sunlight.
4. Replace the sachets every 4-6 weeks for best results.
