Alocasia Bambino Pink Variegata - Compact and rare houseplant
Discover the fascinating Alocasia Bambino Pink Variegata, a rare dwarf hybrid with pink variegation. Perfect for collectors looking for something unique and easy to care for.
This small Alocasia only reaches 30 cm in height, making it perfect for any home where space is limited but the passion for unique plants is great.
Botanical description
Alocasia Bambino 'Pink Variegata' is a variegated form of the well-known dwarf variety Alocasia × 'Bambino Arrow', also called 'Dwarf Amazonica'. This hybrid plant is probably a mutation of the very popular Alocasia × Amazonica, possibly crossed with Alocasia longiloba.
The pink variegation occurs through a genetic mutation that affects chlorophyll production in certain parts of the leaf, creating the beautiful pink and white patches that make this plant so sought after by collectors.
Care instructions
Alocasia Bambino Pink Variegata is as easy to care for as its green counterpart, but the variegated form requires a little extra attention to maintain its beautiful colors:
Light: Bright, indirect light to preserve the variegation. Avoid strong direct sun which can fade the pink hues.
Water: Keep the soil slightly moist but not wet. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
Humidity: Does best with high humidity (60-80%). Perfect for terrariums or with a humidifier.
Temperature: Thrives at room temperature 18-26°C. Avoid cold and drafts.
Soil: Well-drained, airy soil mix. Use a mixture of potting soil, perlite and bark.
Fertilization: Light fertilization during the growing season (spring-summer) with diluted plant fertilizer.
Add this exceptional Alocasia to your collection today! With its unique pink variegation and compact form, Alocasia Bambino Pink Variegata is a true gem for all plant lovers who appreciate the unusual and beautiful. Order now and have this rare Alocasia delivered directly to your home!
