This is completely normal behavior; leaf drop does not indicate a problem as long as the plant's base or stems remain firm. Respecting this seasonal rhythm is key to long-term success.

A good candidate for a bright indoor location or greenhouse until it reaches about a meter in height and can handle full sun.
