Monstera siltepecana is a climbing plant with silvery leaves.
This beautiful Monstera originates from Central America, specifically Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The young leaves have beautiful white patterns but as the plant begins to climb and can attach itself to a support with its aerial roots, the leaves become larger and gradually lose their white patterns.
When the first fenestrations (holes) form, the white markings disappear completely, but instead impressively large leaves develop. It can grow even larger than the well-known Monstera deliciosa !
