Exotic small fern with various cool leaf shapes
It is often called "antenna fern" because the spore-bearing leaves stick straight up into the air like little antennae, while the hairy green leaves that carry out photosynthesis form a dense, low cushion against the ground.
It doesn't get very large and is therefore ideal for terrariums or smaller plantings where you want something unusual and decorative.
Botanical description.
Doryopteris cordifolia , sometimes incorrectly called Doryopteris cordata , is a small fern from Madagascar with two different types of leaves, so-called 'dimorphic leaves'.

Care.
The soil should be kept slightly moist at all times, without drying out completely. Place the plant where the humidity is as high as possible and the light is bright but indirect. It can tolerate some morning or evening sun, but avoid direct sunlight in the middle of the day.
The plant thrives best in humid environments such as bathrooms, plant cabinets or terrariums. To increase humidity, you can regularly spray the leaves with water. Buy antenna fern online!
