Brassia, often known as "Spider Orchid", fragrant and beautiful
This orchid is a popular choice for orchid enthusiasts and gardeners who want something different and spectacular. Their spectacular and often fragrant flowers make all the effort worthwhile.
Care: Brassia orchids thrive in bright light. Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet. Water regularly, but let the substrate dry out slightly between waterings. She prefers warm temperatures between 18-27°C.
Botanical description
Scientific Name : Brassia spp .
Origin : Tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America.

Height : Can grow up to 30-60 cm in height.
Spider-Like Flowers : Brassia orchids are known for their unique flowers that resemble spiders. This appearance is not only aesthetically interesting but also functional, as it attracts specific pollinators such as wasps that mistake the flowers for prey. Brassia orchids use a clever strategy to attract pollinators. Wasps try to attack the flowers, resulting in them becoming covered in pollen that they then spread to other flowers.
