Rare Begonia with Red Veins Against Silver-Green Foliage, Perfect for Terrariums

Begonia 'Lucifer' is a rare begonia with red-veined leaves in patterns of silver and green. The contrast between the red veins and the silver-green foliage evokes the traditional fiery imagery associated with the name Lucifer.

The plant loves high humidity, making it ideal for terrariums or display cabinets.

Care

Thrives in partial to full shade with bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight, which can easily burn the leaves. Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy.

Requires high humidity (70-80%) for optimal health, although it can tolerate slightly lower levels. Use an airy, well-draining substrate. Ideal temperature 20-26 degrees Celsius.

Avoid watering directly on the leaves, as they can easily stain if left wet. Fertilize sparingly during the growing season. Buy Begonia 'Lucifer' online!
