A robust white variegated Epipremnum that grows large leaves
Epipremnum aureum has an impressive ability to spread in nature, which shows that the plant has low requirements and is very robust. Therefore, it is also a very popular and, above all, easy-care houseplant.
There are many cultivated forms of it. This form is variegated with white colors and repeatedly produces very large white variegated areas on the leaves. Like other Epipremnum varieties, Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen' is a climber and only develops its large, fully developed and coloured leaves when it is allowed to climb a support such as a moss stake . It can also be grown as a hanging plant, but then it remains much smaller.
Botanical description.
This plant grows as a so-called hemi-epiphytic vine in the undergrowth of rainforests. Originally from Southeast Asia, this species has now been introduced and naturalized almost everywhere in tropical and subtropical areas worldwide.

Care
As a young plant, it crawls along the ground until it finds something to climb, usually a tree. At this stage, it is small, can handle very little light, and has rather inconspicuous leaves. Once it has found a tree, it begins to climb it, attaching itself to it with aerial roots. From now on, it needs more light and less moisture. Only then does it develop the typical leaves of the species, which also become much larger.
This rather special lifestyle should be imitated for the plant to thrive in the best way. It may sound complicated, but it is actually not that difficult. Use a plant support to help the vine on the trellis. Place the potted plant in a relatively sunny window or under a grow light and let the soil dry out slightly between waterings. It is advisable to use a well-drained aroid soil. Buy epipremnum marble queen online!
