Lycium barbarum , often known as goji berry bush or wolf berry, is a perennial shrub grown for its nutritious berries
The goji berry bush is extremely adaptable and can grow in a wide range of climates, from hot, dry areas to cold regions. It can withstand temperatures down to -20°C, which makes it particularly interesting for cultivation in variable climates such as in Sweden.
Care: Adult bushes can survive temperatures down to about -20°C, but young plants are more sensitive to frost. Protection may be needed during the first few years. The goji berry bush requires full sun for best fruit production. Cover the base of the bush with a thick layer of bark to protect the roots from frost.
